Introducing: Fashion for Reparations (F4R)

We’re proud to partner with Fashion for Reparations—a powerful, community-driven initiative that reclaims fashion as a tool for justice.

Fashion 4 Reparations is a mutual aid, pay-what-you-want clothing store.

They collect clothes from the community and offer them back at whatever price people want to pay - no one turned away for lack of funds. Visit the store on Wednesdays or email to coordinate your clothing donation.

The project started in 2020 as a way to help a queer black mom of 3 and dv survivor pay her rent each month. Now, as the project finds a home at Cherry Street Village (CSV), f4r also contributes funds to this community hub (read below for more on (CSV!), as well as to local direct aid (giving money to people who need it), mutual aid projects with boots on the ground, and support for local organizing efforts.

In addition to selling clothes at our Cherry Street Village location, f4r also provides clothes for mutual aid projects in Seattle and works with local artists who repurpose excess clothes in creative ways. Reach out to them to talk about having f4r at your event or sourcing material for your next project!

Through this partnership, we’re creating an easy and transparent way for supporters to contribute. Donations can be made online via the donation link on this page, or through Venmo @gsnseattle (put "f4r" in the description!). Funds will be gathered and redistributed on a regular schedule (monthly or quarterly), with updates provided so donors can see the direct impact of their support.
