May Day Pop Up: A Celebration of Mutual Aid in Action

We're still glowing from our May Day Mutual Aid Pop Up! Thanks to the generosity of our community, we served (and enjoyed) 48 empanadas, tons of rice, beans, and chili to 40–50 neighbors & volunteers who stopped by to connect, resource, and care for one another.

This is what mutual aid looks like: neighbors showing up for neighbors, no conditions attached. We're especially grateful to All the Best Pets and Palipino Bakery for their generous donations and support, and to Fred Meyer for contributing supplies. We also want to thank Seattle Green Earth Cleaning for providing the space for this event. Your solidarity made this possible.

As we gear up for our Juneteenth Mutual Aid Pop Up on Friday, June 19th, we're reminded that this work only happens because our community believes in it. Thank you for being part of the resistance. Thank you for being part of the care.
